this is joey's hope

We feed 350 children every week.  These are children who would otherwise be alone until their caregiver comes home from work. Working in partnership with the Fuel The Future, a 501 (c)(3) Charity, Joey's Hope for Hungry Children is a charitable organization developed to honor and commemorate the life of USMC Sgt. Joseph Anthony Bovia who was killed in Afghanistan while fighting for our right to be free. 100% of proceeds from fundraising events are used to provide food, clothing and shelter to needy children in the New Orleans Metropolitan Area.

Take a look at our video below or browse our YouTube Channel.

Joey Bovia loved children and fought for their freedom.  His charity is designed to purchase food for hungry children in our community. Many children in our public schools eat on subsidized or free breakfast/lunch programs. Donations to our program allow us to fill book bags full of kid-friendly food each week and send those bags home with those children identified as being in need.
